2027 Casting call

2027 theme: TBD

Application deadline: June 25, 2026 by 11:59pm

Please read through the entire application before considering applying. This production is strictly a metal show and music will be reviewed and approved. What is required to apply:

  • Due to recent events in the circus/aerial/pole world, ALL PERFORMERS MUST HAVE PERFORMER LIABILITY INSURANCE. I highly recommend getting a policy from https://sportsfitness.com/ for the year. All performers will also be required to sign a liability form from the venue. This event itself is insured to maintain compliance with the venue AND all performers are responsible for their own liability. We hire a safety and rigging coordinator every year to ensure the safety of our performers; however, pole dancing is a high risk event and we want everyone to be covered should anything happen. Safety 101: plan for when it happens, not if.

  • All performers must be available be at the venue by 5:30pm on September 4, 2027 to run safety and tech day of show. If you live out of town, please plan advance.

  • No application fee is required. This is a curated production/show open to all pole artists who love metal music just as much as we do.

  • We don’t care how long you’ve been performing or how many tricks you can do. We want your energy, creativity, musicality and ability to interact with the crowd.

  • Metal music is a wide genre and while we are looking for a musically diverse show, we don't want the usual sh*t. Pick something hard and heavy. Check out local bands! For this show please avoid soft-core bands, pop-punk/punk/grunge, progressive bands, and electronic mixes. Need some inspo? Check out our curated playlist on Spotify.

  • DO NOT DM US ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION. We will not accept any applications that are not complete and/or do not follow instructions. We expect to receive a lot of applicants this year and simply cannot cater to everyone. If you have a troubleshooting question, you may email us at contact@thetowerproductions.com

  • All performers must have photo/video marketing material to use in promotional material. It is important that everyone is an active participant in the show.

Some details to keep in mind about the show:

  • This is a SHOW, not a showcase or recital. We have hired headlining performers and this application is for our base performers. All accepted performers will be paid a base rate (plus bonus if the show sells out) + cash tips (each performer takes their own tips)

  • The audience will NOT be allowed to record or take photos of performers during the show. There will be a videographer to take content during the show and all content will be given to the performers at no charge.

  • There will be a designated cash exchange person throughout the night to encourage audience members to tip during the show.

  • All performers must adhere to local performing laws. Pasties are required and should be worn under garments.

  • You will be performing on a xpole lite 45mm chrome pole and we will have a designated safety/rigging coordinator to run tech before/during the show to ensure the safety of all performers.

  • We will prioritize Charlotte and North Carolina performers.
